The Boneditch Ladies

Boneditch Cover 07

“There is no excellent beauty that hath not strangeness in the proportion…”

Edgar Allan Poe

Eliot Rent has discovered that catastrophe is a virus,

and patient zero is a woman who died angry and poor.

Once you get an appetite for strange, you tend to stay hungry forever, no matter how strange it gets…

The story features the real life Apocalypse of 1983, three extremely familiar witches – the writer, the warrior and the engineer, a machine that hears everything in the world, a young woman growing old on stories and secrets, mushrooms and teeth and the difference between the cosmos and the chaos and yoga on the beach and terrifying werehouses and the cannibal ladies who live underground and growing apart from your friends and spontaneous evolution and recognising that a witch is just a question, and that curiosity is no sin

The Boneditch Ladies has its own website scrapbook…

boneditchweb

Several of the stories that make up the book have been turned into podcasts here…

and I’m currently turning it into a new draft …
